Is this a scraper for realestate.com.au?
No. DealVet is gov-data only: NSW Planning Portal, Valuer-General, EPA, Geoscience, ABS, ASIC. We never scrape commercial real-estate portals. User-pasted listing URLs are read via OG tags + JSON-LD only, with explicit consent.
How does state-by-state coverage work?
All eight AU jurisdictions are live. NSW, SA, ACT and NT are wired into a centralised DA tracker, so coverage is full. QLD, VIC, WA and TAS are rolling out council by council, so depth varies. Any section we cannot source is flagged in the report rather than guessed.
How are uploaded contracts secured?
Encrypted at rest in Cloudflare R2, signed-URL access only, auto-expiring evidence retention. Every log line passes through Microsoft Presidio for PII redaction before it lands in storage. Privacy Act export & delete are wired in Settings.
How long does a report take?
Thirty to ninety seconds, typically. The $19 Standard is fastest at under thirty seconds. A $49 Premium runs every due-diligence section in parallel and usually finishes in under sixty. The $79 Deluxe layers deeper synthesis on top of the Premium run, so it can take ninety to one hundred and twenty seconds.
Do I still need a solicitor?
Yes, for contract review and conveyancing. DealVet is a pre-purchase data layer, not legal advice. Think of the report as the brief you hand your solicitor so they know exactly what to look at first, and which questions to ask the vendor.
What's the difference between $19, $49, and $79?
The $19 Standard is a screening read. Verdict score, flag count, and headline identity. It tells you whether the address is worth investigating further. The $49 Premium is the full due-diligence dossier with a government citation behind every line. The $79 Deluxe is the Premium report plus adversarial sale-contract review and chat grounded in the dossier.
Where is my data stored?
Cloudflare R2 in the Sydney region, encrypted at rest, signed-URL access only. Microsoft Presidio redacts PII before any log line lands in storage. Privacy Act export and delete are wired into Settings. We never sell or share your data.
What if my property has no issues?
A clean record is a result worth paying for. It is the written, cited confirmation that nothing was flagged across bushfire, flood, easements, planning and the rest. If a report fails to generate, you are automatically refunded.
